Rumsey Scholarship Fund
The Club’s George Rumsey Scholarship Fund was established in 1963 with a legacy of $100,000 from George Rumsey, a noted industrialist and a member of the Class of 1896. Since 1998, the fund has been mananged by the Cornell Long Term Investment Pool.
Philadelphia remains one of the poorest large cities in the country. Over the past few years, we have seen a significant increase in need from our local students and so we are beginning this campaign to be able to increase our scholarship giving amounts.
